As part of my work as a Brain and Behavior Strategist and Thinkers’ Advocate™, I have coined a set of original terms to describe emerging cognitive identities, capacities, and philosophies that are not yet represented in traditional language or psychology. These words form part of a growing lexicon for the (Neuro) Cognipath™ and deep thinking community.
Below are terms and cognitive classifications that form the core framework of Dr. Blythe H. Cleverly’s research and thought leadership. These terms are original, coined and defined solely by Dr. Cleverly, and are hereby declared as intellectual property under active use. This document serves as a public statement of authorship and origin for the following terminology. All terms listed below are original intellectual property, created and defined by Dr. Blythe H. Procognicity™
Noun
The innate cognitive tendency or trait of being deeply, naturally thoughtful. e.g., “Her Procognicity™ was evident from a young age.”
Procognatism™
Noun
A belief system that values critical thought, inquiry, and cognitive depth as essential cultural traits. e.g., “Procognatism™ rejects reactive culture and champions thoughtful dialogue.”
Procognatively™
Adverb
Describes thinking or communicating in a deep, considered, intellectually engaging way. e.g., “He responded Procognatively™, choosing his words with care.”
Procognate™
Noun
A person who embodies or inspires deep, natural thinking. e.g., “As a skilled Procognate™, she leads teams through critical analysis and insight.”
Procognation™
Noun
The act, process, or state of deep natural thinking. e.g., “He entered a state of intense Procognation™ before making the final call.”Procognicity™ was evident from a young age.”
(Neuro) Cognipath™
A person whose mind is naturally wired for deep pattern recognition, layered analysis, and logic-driven inquiry. They process the world through an intellectual lens and often feel cognitively isolated due to the rarity of their depth. They are not defined by IQ alone and may be neurodivergent without clinical diagnosis.
(Neuro) Omnipath™
An individual who blends the deep cognitive capacities of a Cognipath with the emotional awareness of an Empath. They are simultaneously thinking and feeling at elevated levels and often possess a profound sense of justice and empathy.
EOPs™ (Extraordinary Persons™)
Graduated Omnipaths who have achieved balance between cognitive mastery and emotional intelligence. These individuals are emotionally regulated, intellectually strategic, and lead with clarity and self-awareness.
CMQ™ (Cognitive Mastery Quotient™)
A proposed new metric that evaluates one’s ability to observe, direct, and master their thoughts. Unlike IQ or EQ, CMQ reflects the strategic control and intentional direction of thought patterns over time.
MMQ™ (Mind Mastery Quotient™)
An early version of CMQ that also emphasized regulation of mental habits. Replaced by CMQ as the refined model.

All terms are currently in use by Dr. Cleverly for commercial and educational purposes, and are pending formal trademark protections.
These terms are not repurposed from existing academic or medical language and were verified as unused in both professional and general usage contexts as of 2025. They are unique to the frameworks and teachings of Dr. Cleverly.
